Basic Snake Deluxe is a variation of old good snake series of games. In this version there are three levels of difficulties with various speeds and sizes.

The snake roams around the playing area, picking up food (red dots), trying to avoid hitting its own tail or the horizontal "walls". Each time the snake eats a piece of food, its tail grows longer, making the game increasingly difficult. The user controls the direction of the snake's head (by pressing up, down, left, or right arrow keys), and the snake's body follows. The player cannot stop the snake from moving while the game is in progress.

The interface of the game is in French, but it is very intuitive.
